IMPORTANT! NCWorks Career Centers are not actually “unemployment offices,” and do not process Unemployment Insurance claims. We do help unemployed jobseekers to find new jobs. Currently, you do not need to visit a Career Center to file an unemployment insurance claim.

United Way's 211 service can also assist you with services and resources such as:
- supplemental food and nutrition programs
- shelter and housing options and utilities assistance
- emergency information and disaster relief
- healthcare, vaccination and health epidemic information
- addiction prevention and rehabilitation programs
- reentry help for ex-offenders
- support groups for individuals with mental illnesses or special needs
- a safe, confidential path our of domestic abuse

F3E The Foundation for Financial Education
The Foundation for Financial Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free educational resources to the public. Local industry experts contribute their time and expertise to conduct financial workshops for companies, churches, municipalities, and non-profit organizations at no cost. F3E workshops are considered to be informative, entertaining, and educational. The purpose of the workshops is to provide valuable financial information to the participants that attend, and no specific products or companies are endorsed. F3E is also currently participating in the series of retirement seminars promoted by Federal Agencies.
