CONVENING PARTNERS TO DEVELOP CREATIVE WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
Workforce Development assesses and develops the local area workforce to meet the current and future needs of employers.
- connecting with organizations to determine the current and future workforce needs
- assessing the workforce and identifying populations that need assistance in entering the workforce
- identifying holes in the workforce and identifying skills gaps
- developing and maintaining initiatives and programs to close the gap between workforce and employers
- providing services to businesses to help them develop their workforce
Local area NCWorks Career Centers and NCWorks NextGen Youth programs operate under the guidance of the Piedmont Triad Regional Workforce Development Board.
