The Regional Planning Departments works with many of our local governments to maintain their Land Use Plans and/or Comprehensive Plans to comply with Chapter 160D of the NC General Statutes. Without a reasonably maintained plan, local governments would no long have authority to adopt and enforce zoning regulations.
