Matthew Dolge, Executive Director of the PTRC
Matthew has served in public administration positions for more than 30 years, including roles in both municipal and regional management. During 2010 and 2011, Matthew oversaw the consolidation of the Northwest Piedmont Council of Governments and the Piedmont Triad Council of Governments into the 12-county Piedmont Triad Regional Council. In July of 2011, he was appointed Executive Director of the Piedmont Triad Regional Council.

Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree from Appalachian State University and a Master's of Public Administration from UNC Chapel Hill where he was the John House Scholar. Other professional development includes work with the Institute of Government in Chapel Hill, the NC Rural Center, and the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro.
Matthew currently serves on the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) Board of Directors. He has served as the Chairman of the NC LRO Director's Association, and has held seats on the Boards of the National Association of Regional Councils, the Southeastern Regional Directors Institute, the Twin City Kiwanis Club, Forsyth Futures, and the Appalachian State College of Arts and Sciences Development Board.
