Business Services

Bridging Business & Talent

Our Business Services team provides consultative support for area industries and entrepreneurial ventures in the counties of Alamance, Caswell, Davie, Davidson, Forsyth, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin. We connect with businesses to determine their specific talent concerns and collaborate with the Workforce Development team to develop creative, data-driven solutions. These solutions often include work-based learning opportunities such as On-the-Job Training and Incumbent Worker Training Grants. Business Services Coordinators are available to help employers by supplying program recommendations and by serving as a resource connection.

The Business Services team also offers a variety of resources, such as access to customized labor market data analyses and assistance with job fairs. Our Mobile Career Center and Mini Mobile Unit are available to supplement hiring events with ready-to-use laptops and Wi-Fi.

The Business Services team operates closely with NCWorks Career Centers to collaborate on job fairs and other community events that focus on enhancing the workforce in our area. Business Services Coordinators regularly attend these events to network with businesses and partners in order to build knowledge of openings within specific career paths.

Our goal at Piedmont Triad Regional Workforce Development Board is to create long-standing relationships with businesses who reach out to us as a resource. To learn more about how we can support your business, contact our Business Services Team.
