For individuals coming home from incarceration, what services are available to them?
For their families and children, what support is in the community for them?
Is there any help for individuals and their family members BEFORE someone is released?
The “Council” is a community-based partnership of over 100 organizations, faith-based and grassroots efforts, elected officials, community residents, former offenders, employers, community safety initiatives and any other organization/persons interested/concerned about the men and women returning home after incarceration.
The Council serves as an information hub on local reentry services in Forsyth County, a collective advocate for justice-involved individuals in need of services and an education resource for the community. The Council also provides case management and assistance for individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to reintegration through successful participation in programs and services offered by Council partners.
