The Asbestos Awareness & HazMat Refresher Training will be held on Friday, August 26th This a 1 day class which will start at 8:30am.
This course will cover general awareness and safe work practices for employees who may come in contact with asbestos. You will learn about the health effects of asbestos, how to recognize damage, and the normal locations of asbestos in a home. This course meets the EPA AHERA and OSHA Class IV operation requirements. The HazMat portion will discuss the best means of preventing, or reducing, hazardous materials (hazmat) incidents that are caused by human error. You will receive the required training which will enhance employee safety and security, and increases employee productivity and skills. This course will be provided at PTRC by The EI Group. The cost to participate will be $250.00 per student. This will include the class fee as well as lunch and snacks for the day.
