The Lead Safe Initial Training for Renovation, Repair and Painting will be held on Friday, September 9th. This is a one day class which will start at 8:30am.
This course will certify participants for the Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (Lead Renovators) training requirements. Contractors and workers must have documented training and practice lead-safe work practices to reduce potential lead exposures during renovation and repair activities. The requirements apply to anyone, such as painters, plumbers, electricians, and contractors, who could potentially expose children to lead dust during their work. This course will cover everything needed to become certified in lead-safe work practices. This course will be provided at PTRC by The EI Group. The cost to participate will be $450.00 per student. This will include the class fee as well as lunch and snacks for the day.
