NEAT/MHEA Energy Audit Software Training

The NEAT/MHEA Energy Audit Software Training Course will be held on Tuesday February 27th – Friday March 1st. This is a 3 ½ day training with class beginning at 8:30am each day.

This course will provide participants with the knowledge required to use the NEAT/MHEA Software. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) requires all Grantees to utilize computerized energy audits specific for single-family, and manufactured (mobile home) dwellings to determine the most cost-effective energy conservation measures to install. Learn how to setup and use the NEAT/MHEA Weatherization Assistant, manage the setup and supply libraries, identify the thermal boundary of various housing types, use home data collected on-site to complete an energy audit, estimate pre- and post-energy use. The course curriculum is suitable for those in the weatherization industry that have basic building science knowledge and energy audit experience. This course awards participants with BPI CEU’S. Please make sure to bring your computer and price list for any contractor. The cost of this training is $1,800.00 per participant. This will include the actual class, and the testing fees. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

For questions or to register, please contact Nikia Beal at nbeal@ptrc.org or (336) 904-0300.
