2024 Cicada Slumber (Ages 6 – 12)
June 8, 12 – 2 pm, Piedmont Environmental Center- 1220 Penny Rd., High Point NC
Brood XIX Cicadas, which have been resting under the ground for the last 13 years, are set toemerge this summer in Guilford County. we will learn about the life cycle of these interesting insects, how to identify them and even go out to try and catch a few! We’ll finish up wiht a fun craft to take home.
