Office of Sustainability and Resilience and Water Resources departments are offering this hands-on environmental science program will introduce rising middle school girls to a possible career in science and research in a practical, hands-on way. The program will be led by Resilience Project Coordinator Katie Farina and Office of Sustainability and Resilience staff.
This lesson will delve into the impact of the sun on our ecosystem. Participants will explore how the sun provides energy and sustains life as well as discuss how heat affects our community.
This is the second of a three-part program. Registration is required and deadline to register is noon Tuesday, June 25.
