The National Weather Service (NWS), in partnership with the City of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Office of Emergency Management, and the Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) presents a regional, multi-agency, interactive Hurricane and Flooding Tabletop Exercise (TTX).
- This tabletop exercise will provide an overview of the products and services available from the National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service local forecast offices before, during, and after tropical cyclones.
- After the product review, a tabletop exercise that focuses on high winds and widespread flooding will be conducted that will utilize these products and services.
- In addition to the tabletop exercise, the Verizon Crisis Response Team will be bringing one of their response units to set up in the parking lot for display between sessions.
