 Join us for a fun day of community service and environemntal education hosted jointly by the Reidsville Appearance Commission and the Piedmont Triad Regional Council's Stormwater Smart division! This event will feature the Greensboro ECO Bus & Friends. You will get a chance to board the ECO Bus and interact with some native animals, see the Stormwater SMART EnviroScape, and participate in a Wetlands BioBlitz! This event is a great opportunity to learn about the environmental education programming opportunities available in your community.

Courtland Park is one of Reidsville’s most popular outdoor sites. Located in the heart of the city, Courtland Park is connected to our greenway trails system and is home to our local Bird Sanctuary.

WHAT IS THE ECO BUS?

The ECO Bus mission is to Engage the Community with the Outdoors (ECO). The bus delivers a variety of hands-on environmental programs to suit your needs. The ECO Bus has interactive displays about North Carolina's ecosystems, including live plants and animals. Interacting with wildlife instills a sense of environmental awareness and responsibility. In the natural world, every moment is an opportunity for discovery and wonder.
