The PTRC is working with the Triangle J Council of Governments to prioritize conservation and restoration efforts in the Upper Cape Fear River basin. At this meeting we will share the results of our initial Upper Cape Fear Restoration and Conservation Analysis, get feedback, and discuss finalizing the project atlas and report.
Tentative Agenda:
• A really good breakfast (very important!);
• Introductions and a project recap;
• A review of the actual restoration and conservation GIS analysis performed using your criteria and rankings;
• A discussion on the analysis;
• A break;
• A review of what you can expect from the final report and atlas, a discussion on outreach efforts, and any other feedback; and
• A review of next steps.
Please RSVP to Heather Saunders if you are planning to attend.
Parking lot and room location:
The McMichael Science Center is located at the corner of North O’Kelly Avenue and East Haggard Avenue. There is a parking lot adjacent to the building in the rear. If you enter the building from the path adjacent to the greenhouse, it will bring you in to the “Garden Level” (also known as the basement, but it is a walkout). The door will be right next to the room we will meet in (Room 002).
