An informational session for elected officials of the Dan River Basin –

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council is pleased to invite you to a meeting regarding the Cole Hill uranium deposit at the Eden City Hall next Tuesday, May 14, at 10 a.m.  

The meeting will be led by Gene Addesso, Vice-Chairman of the Roanoke River Basin Association, who will be discussing the history, current status, and possible impacts of mining this deposit for all residents of the Dan River Basin, including your constituents.  He will be joined by Andrew Lester, RRBA Executive Director, and Mike Pucci, Chairman of the NC Coalition.  Although the Cole Hill deposit is downstream of you and in Virginia, the decisions made regarding its future will affect the quality of life and politics of all Dan River Basin residents.
