The goals of the workshops are to:
• Re-establish the National Partnership's network of statewide advocates;
• Outline the National Partnership's role in NC and 2014 advocacy efforts;
• Generate an Advocacy Action Plan to move forward with initiatives to advocate for active transportation across North Carolina;
• Identify partners willing to participate in a statewide working group; and
• Allow advocates and agency partners an opportunity to network.
Each workshop is scheduled form 1 pm to 4 pm and we hope that people from eastern and western NC are able to attend one of the workshops closest to them.
Here is a link to register for one of the three workshops. We will send directions to meeting locations at least one week prior to the workshop. There is a carpool option for you to check if you are traveling a long distance to the workshop. I will send an email to groups of individuals wishing to carpool.
Please email don@kostelecplanning.com or call 828-989-5811 if you have any questions.
