The Triad Commute Challenge Commuter Dash 5K run/walk event is the kick-off event for the 9th Annual Triad Commute Challenge. By registering for the Commuter Dash, participants 16 and over agree to try an alternate commute option (bike, walk, bus, vanpool, carpool, ride the train, telecommute) instead of driving alone at least once by April 30th.

Start Location: Merschel Plaza, Fourth Street between Cherry and Trade (202 W 4th St. Winston-Salem)
Date/Time: Saturday, March 28, 2015Commuter-Dash-Logo-2015 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Cost: Free, with pledge to try an alternative mode of transportation.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up: Omega Sports at Thruway Shopping Center (414 South Stratford Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103) from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on March 27th
Timing: On the Mark Sports
Prizes: Top 3 Males, Top 3 Females, Door Prize (Valued at $25 – $100)
Restrictions: You must be 16 years of age or older to take the Triad Commute Challenge and to REGISTER for the Commuter Dash 5K event. While children may participate with an adult, they will NOT be officially timed and should NOT be registered. Pets and strollers are welcome!
Day of Registration: Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to 9:00AM if you plan on registering for the run the morning of the Commuter Dash.
