WORKSHOP SESSION PLANNED FOR PUBLIC INPUT ON THE STOKES COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN
Do you have ideas where road improvements should be made? How about new sidewalks and bicycle lanes? Interested in trails or public transit? The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Stokes County, Danbury, Walnut Cove and the Northwest Piedmont Rural Planning Organization is working on a comprehensive transportation plan. Staff needs your input on recommendations for future transportation improvements.
The drop-in session will be held Monday – July 25, 2016; 4pm-6pm at the Ronald Wilson Reagan Memorial Administration Building, 3rd Floor Conference Room, 1014 Main Street, Danbury, NC 27016. Local, regional and state staff will be on hand to take your input, answer questions and collect comments from you.
Everyone with an interest in improving transportation is encouraged to drop by -- even for a few minutes – and share their comments on recommendations to address the County’s current and future transportation needs.
