We are very excited to announce our two great speakers for this event: Jonathan Morgan and Christy Raulli.
Jonathan Morgan is currently on staff with the UNC School of Government and has an extensive background in economic development. Currently he serves as course director for the annual Basic Economic Development Course and his research has appeared in the International Journal of Economic Development and Popular Government. Jonathan earned a BA from the University of Virginia, and MPA from Clark Atlanta University and a PhD in public administration from North Carolina State University.

Christy Raulli is the Associate Director for the Development Finance Initiative (DFI), a program that assists local governments with attracting private investment for transformative redevelopment projects. She brings more than 15 years of community and economic development experience and is currently advising local governments on approximately $100 million of redevelopment projects. Christy leads a team of real estate, community, and economic development professionals and graduate students. She graduated with honors from SUNY Fredonia, and holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning from UNC.
