The Piedmont Area Falls Prevention Coalition is a group of representatives from various organizations across the Piedmont Triad, as well as individuals and advocates who are committed to reducing falls in our communities.

The Piedmont Area Falls Prevention Coalition (PAFPC)  is one of eight regional falls prevention coalitions in North Carolina.  The PAFPC serves 12 counties: Alamance, Caswell, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, Rockingham, Surry, Stokes and Yadkin.

Falls Prevention Classes

Falls are not a normal part of aging. There are many things that can be done to reduce your risk  of falling and fear of falling. Falls prevention classes are available to improve your balance, coordination and reduce your risk of falls. To find a class go to:

  • Piedmont Triad Regional Council Age Well programs at (336) 904-0300 has A Matter of Balance classes. These classes can be held virtually or in person at a community location near you.
