Family Caregiver Support Group - Meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month, from 2:00 to 3:00. Located in Lexington at The Life Center of Davidson, 601 West Center Street. Parkinson's Support Group - The group is for those individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. This group meets the third Thursday of each month at The Life Center of Davidson County at 1:30pm. Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Relative Caregiver Support Group - This support group is open to all grandparents raising grandchildren to have the opportunity to meet other caregivers, develop a network of support, and receive information about local resources for grandparents raising grandchildren. Senior Resources of Guilford's Memory Cafe
What is a memory café? A Memory Café provides a gathering place for friends with Alzheimer’s (or other dementias) along with their caregivers and families to relax and enjoy socialization, refreshments, discussion and entertainment.
There is a Memory Café located in Jamestown. The Memory Café meets the third Tuesday of every month from 1:30-3:30 pm at Jamestown United Methodist Church located at 403 E. Main Street.
