Smith Reynold Airport has been awarded a $4.45 million CARES Act Recovery Assistance grant to help preserve and create hundreds of jobs and offset additional economic adversity caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The project was made possible by the regional planning efforts led by PTRC.

PTRC Receives New Grants

Blue Cross NC Foundation invests in the PTRC’s Food System and Medicaid Transformation initiatives. Two grants totaling over $772,000 from the Blue Cross NC Foundation will allow the PTRC to fund programs that focus on improving health equity.

2019 Piedmont Legacy Trails Summit

The fourth annual Piedmont Legacy Trails Summit was held on March 15, 2019, at the Salem Lake Marina Center in Winston Salem. It was a great success, attracting over 140 people (the most attended summit to date) from the Piedmont Triad region to gather, learn, and network about trails.

Census 2020 Preparations
