Creek Week is an initiative of local governments in Alamance County and their partners. It's a time to get together with friends, family, and neighbors to learn about water quality, help clean up litter from a creek or stream, and have fun while we do it!
Alamance Creek Week government partners include Alamance County, City of Burlington, Town of Elon, City of Graham, Town of Gibsonville, Town of Green Level, Town of Haw River, and City of Mebane. During Creek Week, you may meet staff from your local Recreation and Parks, Public Works and Stormwater/Water Resources, Wastewater Treatment, Waste Management, Planning Departments, and Regional Council of Governments.
