Piedmont Triad Regional Workforce Development Board currently recognizes four career pathways:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Aviation
- Healthcare
- Transportation and Logistics
These pathways track the educational and credential requirements for careers in these clusters and describes the career guidance components associated with academic experience from middle school through Masters/PhD education level. Pathways provide points of entry and exit from school to work and back again so that students and jobseekers (both unemployed and those transitioning to in-demand careers) can readily see the educational requirements and soft skills needed to enter the career of their interest.
